The News of Cryptocurrency trading skyrocketing is not new but the milestone which it is achieving is definitely worth your attention. Recently, Cryptocurrency trading achieved greatest highs on Bitmex, the trading platform used by many and BTC hit a milestone of 30 Million Wallets. What’s interesting to note here is that the number of wallet keeps increasing even at the time of market downturn which shows that more individuals are showing interest in crypto trading.
Lets talk about two of the most recent Milestones which the Crypto-market witnessed recently-
MILESTONE 1: From 20 Million in Jan, 2018 to 31.5 Million BTC Wallet Users Now

The number of blockchain wallet users worldwide has been growing steadily ever since Bitcoin’s inception in 2009 with no signs of fatigue.
This is true as if you’ll see the graph below, it is clear that the number of wallets kept increasing from 2012 till Jan 2014 but then noticed an exponential growth and is still going strong with an even greater speed.
Now, if we analyse the graph of number of wallets in the past 60 days, the growth got better somewhere after 5th of November, 2018 and has not looked back ever since. The downturn of market has not affected the growth in wallets at all.
The number of wallets was at 20,000,000 in January which became more than 24 Million in July, 2018 and has currently close to 31.5 Million mark (as on December 13, 2018 : 12.16 pm IST).
MILESTONE 2: Bitcoin Subreddit Crosses 1 Million
Bitcoin Subreddit, A community dedicated to Bitcoin, the currency of the Internet did a touchdown of 1 Million Subscribers and is still going strong with more than 5,000 subscribers online on an average. If we analyse the stats, it can be seen clearly that the growth has happened at a quick rate. From around 750,000 in the beginning of March 2018 to 1 Million in December 2018.

Today, as on 13th December, this number has gone up to 1,004,444 and is currently ranked at 124 in the top subreddit subscribers list. Though it has indeed lost some ranks but the increase in number of subscribers shows that it is still in fashion and everyday new subscribers are getting added to the list.
There were other milestones too which added feathers to the cap of Cryptocurrency. As reported by The Daily Hodl, Bitcoin has maintained an edge over the most searched pop artists in the search trends report of Google. Apart from this, Hong Kong Based Crypto Exchange BitMEX’s trading volume reached a massive 2 Billion USD within a very short span of time. It reported nearly 1 Trillion USD in Cryptotrading and over 90 Billion USD in the past 30 days. It is also maintaining a record of more than 100 audits per second which is in itself a great achievement.
